At Dreamor Ranch, we take a different view of Riding Lessons....
We think they should be fun and goal oriented ...not boring. We believe that while there are times to have a lesson that goes around & around the ring over & over again, students (especially children) learn better if they are challenged while having fun. Specially planned games are played and fun competitions make up lessons where everyone learns without even realizing they are doing it!
We offer Group lessons and Private lessons on either your horse or ours. Students who use a Dreamor Ranch horse can pay either by the lesson or by the month. Monthly fees also give the student unlimited lesson and practice time. Students wishing to experience horse ownership without the financial commitment, can "lease" a Dreamor Ranch horse on a month to month basis.
We offer English, Western and Pleasure forms of Riding and include Barrel Racing and Jumping in our curriculum. Working as a team, our students - both kids and adults - are offered Monthly Gymkhanas (Barrel Racing and Pole Bending) and periodic shows (English and Western) as well as an occasional Team Penning and Sorting Competition to go to.. All students are welcome to participate in outside competitions as much or as little as they want.
For those who have a horse they would like us to work with, we can help fill in the knowledge gaps and train both horse and rider to help put them together as a working, communicating "Team".
We also work with local Schools, Home School Programs, FFA and 4H Groups with lessons and clinics on various topics. Want YOUR school to be involved? Email us!
