Kitty Superstar
Four years ago an associate of mine called me to ask if I would be interested in a quarter horse filly. He said his family was fighting over her and somehow the
result was that no one was feeding or caring for her....so for her sake, he offered her to Dreamor Ranch to place. When we went to pick her up, we encountered a skinny, underweight baby who followed us around & jumped into our trailer.
I immediately adopted her into a home with a 6 year old girl who was crazy about her. While there, she grew into a beautiful, muscular adult horse. Unfortunately, Kitty's troubles were just beginning. While being trained to ride, she came up lame. She had a degenerative disease in her feet called "Navicular" which caused a lot of pain, but instead of putting her to sleep, her family elected to have an expensive and sometimes risky operation performed by their Vet...and it worked...her pain was gone.
Today Kitty's adoptive family keeps her at a friend's ranch and rides her as often as possible. Several years after coming to us she is now happy and pain free.
